Taylor just started walking while holding on to the couch! She's only 7months old! She is SO happy when she does it too! I got her on video.....standing/walking

Bad day

Andre bit Taylor on Monday. It was very scary but she is okay. She is such a little trooper, she is acting completely normal despite all her cuts, scratches, and bumps. She already looks better and it's only been a couple days! We don't blame Andre, he didn't know what he was doing. He's a very nervous dog and her crawling around makes it worse. He's a really sweet and good dog and finding him a new home is killing us. I am so against getting rid of animals but we just can't risk giving him a second chance, especially when it involves Taylor. We love him so much. Nobody knows how much he means to me and what he has helped me through. There is hope that Ken's family will take him. I cannot put into words what that means to me. We will be able to see him everytime we visit and when they come to visit. He knows them and they love him, so we don't have to worry! It's going to be so sad living here without him. I haven't stopped crying since all this happened. Taylor will miss him too. Despite what he did, she still loves him and smiles at him when she sees him. Hopefully when she's older and taller than him, he can come back home.

Pullin' Up

Taylor started pulling herself up on things a couple weeks ago. She is already getting really good at it. I just know she's going to be an early walker!

Grand Bear Resort Weekend

We went to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort this weekend. It was to celebrate the marriage of a friend of ours. It had an indoor waterpark and amusement park. Taylor loved the amusement park, so many light and things to look at. She enjoyed the water too!

7 Months!

So many milestones!

Taylor has had a ton of firsts and they all just happened this past week! She can crawl, she got her first bruise (from crawling), she can get into the sitting position by herself, she can give you a high five, she has another tooth, and she is talking; she says ta, ba, ga, and da.....yeah, those are words. I was told from her doctor that she is advanced for her age w/ the crawling and being able to get into the sitting position...she obviously gets that from me! When you hold up your hand and say 'high five', she puts her hand up and when you slap it she smiles! She is so happy to be crawling now, if she is real excited about something she will move real fast! Her favorite things to crawl to are the vacuum, night lights, cords, and dog toys. And the fun begins for us!

Swingin' at the park

It was really nice outside today so we went to the park. Taylor loved the swings! And she loves watching the dogs fetch their ball. Here she is swinging....Taylor Swinging

Mirror Mirror on the wall

She loves looking in the mirror! She likes to kiss herself too!

We have a tooth!

Taylor has her first tooth, it just poked through! It's her bottom right one, it's so little and cute!

6 Months old!

I know I say that I can't believe how old she is every month, but I really can't believe she is 6 months! =)

Taylor is on the move

Not crawling yet but she will scoot herself backwards. She scooted herself under the couch, it was pretty funny! And just this past Friday she was up on all fours rocking herself. I just know she'll be crawling in no time!

My 30th birthday

Well I am old. It was a fun birthday with friends and family, maybe a little too much fun cause the next day wasn't very fun. =)

It finally snowed!

And I'm talking more than 1 inch. We're suppose to get more too! We took Taylor out in it. She had her tongue out a lot trying to eat the snow. Her snowsuit reminds me of the kid on Christmas Story; she can't move in it. She wasn't even able to sit! She looked like a giant marshmallow!

Sittin' Up

Taylor sat up on her own (Jan 13th)! It was only for a couple minutes but each day she can do it longer and longer. It's amazing to see because if she starts to fall back, she balances herself back up! She's such a big girl!

5 Months

Taylor is 5 months old!

Marley & Me

Ken and I went to see Marley and Me. I read the book a few years ago and it has been one of my favorites! The movie was really good, except for the sad ending, but at least I knew it was coming. Marley totally reminded Ken and me of Andre.....'The world's worst dog.' Here's Andre doing what he does best; stealing socks!

Happy New Year

I can't believe it's 2009! We celebrated the new year with some friends. Taylor was having so much fun she wouldn't sleep!

Christmas

Taylor had a great first Christmas! She got a ton of presents! Thanks everyone for your generosity! She also got her first haircut! There are a lot of pics up on Picasa.

Taylor rolled over!

Taylor can roll over! Last week she rolled from her tummy to her back and today she rolled from her back to her tummy! She likes it now! Here's a video -

4 Months Old!

Taylor is 4 months old today. I would say her favorite thing right now is the dogs. She loves looking at them and watching them, any noise they make her head turns in their direction. She gets a huge smile on her face when she sees them and sometimes she even laughs at them. They are good with her, they let her pet them and they'll kiss her hand.....and of course Mommy is right there to wash her hands! She talks to them too, I put a video on YouTube of her talking to Bailey.
